Think about your reception theme, this means colours and overall decoration. What do you want on your tables? Flowers, candles.....there are so many choices!!
Choose a florist - think about your flowers for the ceremony, reception and of course for the bouquets and button holes.
Think about what you would like for your wedding cake and start getting quotes to help you decide on your perfect wedding cake.
Thank about what you may need to hire for the day..do you need a marquee, chairs, red carpets etc, and organise them for the day (hire, lend etc)

Think about the type of photos that you want of the day. The light at the end of the day is considered to be the most flattering and sunset photos are fantastic for your wedding album.

Choose where you want your ceremony to be held
Book your ceremony venue as early as possible.
If having a religious ceremony ask about any meetings or premarital counselling you may be required to attend.
If you decide on an outdoor venue consider a Plan B in case of bad weather.

Welcome to Life in Images Photography Wedding Tips and Planning.
Planning a wedding can be a stressful time for any bride so I have decided to try and lend a hand by posting tips, trends and ideas to help you plan your big day!
I have always had a passion for photography from a young age, always having a camera on hand.
After working as a Social Worker and Child Therapist for the past ten years I decided to turn my true passion into a career and Life In Images Photography was created.
I use a photojournalistic style and love taking natural, relaxed pictures that capture the personality of each subject.
I enjoy photographing children and familes capturing images that they can cherish and look back on in the years to come.
I also love everything about weddings especially the little details that make every wedding unique.
I am an emerging member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers and as such I am guided by AIPP code of ethics. A copy of these ethics can be viewed at www.aipp.com.au
